Program One

Length: 1 hour

When? Held at your school in the evening

Who? Parents and children in Years 3-6 (or depending on the grades in your school)

Cost for a family: $25 for one session or $30 for two sessions (in Sydney region

Topics include:

Our bodies, The differences between girls and boys, Child protection, Reproduction, The growth and development of babies during pregnancy, Birth.

Program Two

This program will follow Program One on the same night

Length: 1 hour

When? Held at your school in the evening

Who? Parents and children in Years 3-6  (depending on the grades in your school)

Cost for a family: $25 for one session or $30 for two sessions (in Sydney region

Topics include:

Our bodies, The differences between girls and boys, What is puberty?, Why do we need to go through puberty?, When does it start?, How long does it take?, Why do we go through puberty?, The changes both physical and emotional that girls and boys can expect, How to take care of yourself during puberty?

Program Three

This program combines and condenses Programs 1 & 2.

Length: 1 hour and 15 minutes

When? Held at your school in the evening

Who? Parents and children.

Cost for a family: $30 (in Sydney region)

Topics include:

Our bodies, The differences between girls and boys, Reproduction, The growth and development of babies during pregnancy, Birth, What is puberty?, Why do we need to go through puberty?, When does it start?, How long does it take?, The changes both physical and emotional that girls and boys can expect.

Parenting Seminar

Length: 1 hour (evening) plus question time
Who? Parents and teachers. 

Cost to parents: $30 per couple or single (in Sydney region)

This program explores some of the challenges that parents and carers face when raising children in our technologically advanced society. This can be a difficult yet important topic as they are bringing up children in a digital world that is incredibly different from the world they grew up in. Questions such as what stops us talking to our kids about sex to the how, what, when, where and why as well as the influence of the media and pornography is discussed. Parents are challenged and empowered to make a difference in the lives of their children.

Classroom Programs

Schools may select a one, two, three or four day program. These may be used as a follow-up after the evening child/parent program, or may simply a stand-alone program.

Length: Each session will be one and a quarter hours over one, two, three or four weeks (in school hours).

Who? Students (and teachers) in their classrooms

Cost: $10 per student, per session (in Sydney region).

Topics include:

Our bodies, The differences between girls and boys, Reproduction, Conception, The growth and development of babies during pregnancy, Babies and birth, What is puberty?, Why does puberty happen?, When does it start?, How long does it take?, The changes that girls and boys can expect, Looking after yourself during puberty.

Child protection

Pornography-an age appropriate session discussing what basic pornography is and what you should do if you see it

Friendships and relationships-what is a healthy and unhealthy relationship or friendship- resolving conflict-peer pressure

Media and body image-How does the media affect us and how can we discern the messages.
