Short Summary

Miracle is a story book about infertility and miracles written by Jason Pinter and illustrated by Cheryl Crouthamel for kids aged 4 to 8 years.

What This Book Is About

Merle and Pearl are two rabbits who have found true joy in each other’s company. But as time goes by, they realize that they want a child of their own. This book shares their adventure as they race after their biggest dream.

Inspired by the author and his wife’s journey through infertility, this book shares important lessons like:

  • There will always be challenges along the way when you’re going after your dream
  • You have to be able to do what it takes if you really want your biggest dreams to come true
  • Sometimes, all it takes is a miracle for your dreams to come true

Reflection and Comments

A heartwarming story, this is best read together by parents and their smaller kids. Even though it is about infertility it doesn’t actually talk about it.
