Reflection and Comments

This book is a resource that can help open healthy conversations around the physical, social and emotional changes during puberty and how to deal with them.

Emotional intelligence is not something that’s often highlighted especially when it comes to a book for boys. It even emphasises that asking for help is not a sign of weakness and that each person is a different.

It also talks about being mindful of how men are portrayed in the media. We all know the pressure that comes with being exposed to social media, with the often unrealistic expectations set. By tackling this topic, readers are encouraged to embrace who they are and make responsible decisions especially when it comes to their own body.
