Puberty can be awkward for some boys especially with the confusing information that they get from the internet, society, and media. Not all of them know how to talk to a trusted adult about it.
This is story, following 2 cartoon looking penis’ through puberty, so it’s a story about what happens to Preeb and Pube as they go through puberty.
What This Book Is About
The book takes readers through an entertaining story where Preeb and Pube ask questions that most young boys might have but almost don’t ask. It covers a wide range of topics related to puberty, like:
- Testosterone
- Body and facial hair
- When puberty starts
- Wet dreams
- The urethra
- Ejaculation
- Erections
- Blue balls
- Circumcision
- Penis size and shape
- Staying healthy
- Masturbation
- Mood swings
The book uses modern language that young boys will easily relate to. The stories are also very relatable and are situations that boys may find themselves in in real life. It draws young readers in so easily with its fun tone as it explains the science behind puberty.
Reflection and Comments
This book uses slang and non-accurate terms like, boners, jock-itch and boobs. The language may not be your cup of tea so as an adult please read it first before your child does.
It talks about the mostly physical aspects of puberty from the perspective of what’s happening to most boys as a story about the experiences happening to Pube and Preeb the main two characters.
