Amazing Me Online Courses: Spectacular Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sale

Why do I have to go through puberty? When will it happen?

What is a wet dream? How do I know that my period is on its way? What is sex? How are babies made? How does the baby get out?

These are some of the questions that I receive each day from the children that I teach.

Curiosity is a wonderful thing. Because children learn by exploring, it’s important that they get the right information from the right source, wouldn’t you agree? That source is you! During the COVID lockdown, I created two online courses to support you and your family.

‘What’s the Big Deal About Puberty?’ (a two part-course) and ‘A Kids Guide to Bodies and Babies’ are both designed for kids aged 7-9 years or 9-12 years.

These online courses are designed for children to do together with their parents and carers, or they can easily complete them on their own. This is a unique way of connecting and opening up conversations within the comfort of your home. Because these topics involve your family values and beliefs, you can talk about what is important to you as you complete the course together.

The meaning of sex and puberty is more than just one conversation, so these online courses are a great place to start and continue conversations. Each course contains short videos and interactive activities. At the end of each section, there are discussion points for you and your child to talk about together. You can stop, start and replay the course when needed.

I have heard that some children enjoyed it so much that they have watched it more than once.

Find out what else other parents thought of the online course:

I heard Rowena speak at my son’s school and I wanted to rehash the information so I bought the course. My son really likes watching it. I feel that when puberty begins he will be more prepared for it.

Final Words

Answering questions about sexual health topics with your children is not always easy but these courses can help. The aim of these courses is to educate, equip and strengthen family relationships so that as parents and carers, you can be the person who your child goes to when asking questions rather than the internet.

You don’t want to miss this parenting opportunity that you can have with your child as you talk, share and learn together. Click any of the buttons above to purchase a course or connect with me on Instagram (amazingme.education) if you have any questions.
