15 Books About Puberty For Pre-Teens

Fantastic Books About Puberty

I love books and I love puberty books. They are such a great way to understand what’s going on when your child goes through puberty and to connect with them. Depending on their age and what’s going on for them, they might not read the book with you but they’ll most likely read it by themself, even if they feel embarrassed and don’t tell you.

I love how there are so many books on puberty for younger children now. I also love that there are books that align with the diversity of differing family values and beliefs. There are now Christian books about puberty. And here’s the thing, even if the book doesn’t include everything you want your child to know, you can always add that yourself.

Also, if there is something that you disagree with, for example, gender stereotypes, like a pink book for girls and a blue book for boys, don’t ignore the fact that it might still be a great book. Often these points of difference, or a lack of reference to your faith and beliefs, provide a great opportunity for conversation.

So, here are 5 books to help explain puberty, for most girls, most boys and everyone, the age that they are recommended for and where you can read the review.
